MULAN II: THE SEQUEL: Part 3
By Ally (No e-mail provided)

...Now, we travel from Shang's hometown, to Mulan's village. It was another bright sunny day, Mulan had just woken up from a long night's sleep. She sat up in bed thinking about last night the night that Shang stayed for dinner. She really hoped that he would visit again someday soon, she really enjoyed he's company, and also, she was in love... But little did she know that a great dilemma that she had never had to face in her young sixteen years, was about to occur...

Wang Wei was riding into a small village that he had heard was the famous Mulan's village. He had been sent by the emperor to fetch Mulan. Wei was probably around twenty-one or twenty-two, he was nice looking, smart, but a bit of a snob. He thought he was all that because he worked as the emperor's messenger...

"Mulan, will go to the market and get me some fruit and vegetables for dinner?" Fa Li asked. "Of course, Mother," Mulan answered obediently (that is how most Chinese girl are brought up), yet a little annoyed. So Mulan set off on foot to the market, there she was spotted by Wei (the new guy). He liked the way she looked and the way she talked to people in her special un-lady-like manner, so he approached her.

"Excuse me, miss, but, uh, I was wondering if you could help me," Wei asked Mulan. "Um, well, I'm in a bit of a hurry, but how can I help?" answered Mulan. "Well, could please tell me if this is the village where I can find a girl named, Mulan?" he asked arrogantly, as if he thought he was too high-class to talk to a poor young country girl (even though he didn't feel that way). "Sir, I, um, have to go, sorry..." Mulan replied quickly, for she had lingered too long, and her mother would be worried, besides, why should she waste her time talking to a snobby guy when she had dinner to prepare?
